I am so sorry for the prejudice to your great-grandfather obviously endured and even more I'm sorry for the prejudice that remains to this day in our own community, A small predominantly Catholic Community, who should reach out to those coming here for a better life rather than ridiculing them, making nasty comments about them, etc. I have always wished that I could speak Spanish so that I could befriend these poor people who have come here simply to work and make a better life for themselves. Hell I'm just from another state and I'm not really included so my heart goes out to those immigrants from another country who barely speak the language. God bless them and give them hope.
thank you for your comments. Part of the protective spirit comes from my dad's experience in combat. When you're hearing projectiles explode all over you, your body tends to go into a defensive posture. It explains a lot thank.. you for your support.
