The Great Deception
Mr. Trump is encouraging WWIII per the former Supreme Allied commander of NATO.
The words, “the supreme deception,” from the catechism of the Catholic Church, # 675, speaks to a deception whereby “man glorifies himself in place of God and of His Messiah come in the flesh.”
It is the primary and archetypical sin against God.
Even in the mind of the world, where it is written there is no God, what it says instead, is this: I am over you, your master, your guide, your prophet, your freedom. I control you, I manipulate you, possess you so without me you have no soul, no identity, no being.
We know that if God indeed exists, only God would have such authority over us since the nature of God as creator only mirrors what we see in the beauty and love displayed in the natural world.
In other words, the mother bear only desires to nourish and protect us. It seeks life for us in all its glory.
Yet the wolf comes and seeks to snatch and take the fold away from its natural master. The wolf comes to scatter, to confuse, to create chaos and alternate realities, to take for oneself what can only belong to God.
Even in a world where you are without God, the notion of being subservient to a malevolent force is anathema to the human spirit.
This is precisely what conquerors of territory desire and even humans on the individual level.
For indeed too often, men have been heard to say, I am your freedom, I hold in my hand your very self and you are mine and I am free do with you as I please. You belong to me.
We protest loudly, we scream, I belong to no one but to God and to me.
Telling me that you are my master, my owner, to do with as you please?
Not going to happen.
But it does happen. Many have made it there.
There is only room for God and me within that sacred chamber found deep within us. Woe to the ones who see it otherwise.
Jim Jones of the People’s temple, David Koresh of the Branch Dravidian’s.
A Nxvim cult leader engraving his name on the flesh of the girls that “serviced” him. He was sentenced to 120 years, having reneged his membership in the human family.
Woe to the ones who see it otherwise.
In an attempt to speak for God, Koresh and Jones and the rest of them ended up replacing God with themselves, a mere creature, which demanded for itself the worship that is due to God alone.
“You will drink this kool aid. It is sweet and it is refreshing.”
They drank the kool aid, and they all died.
So the “advocate” lies when he shows Jesus all the kingdoms of the world, he creates an alternate set of rules that govern the world in his false image, and tells him it is all his if only he would worship him, that Jesus could have this deceptive and corrupt world for himself.
The devil wants Jesus to take a knee to him and for him, all in vain, in service to him and him alone.
Jesus with an unwavering voice, says: It is written, you shall worship the Lord you God, and him only shall you serve.
In an article in the Jesuit publication, AMERICA, entitled, “What does Our Lady of Fatima have to do with the conversion of Russia and Ukraine,” it states:
Asking Mary’s intercession for the conversion of Russia has been a recurrent priority of the church in the last 100 years. At Fátima, Mary asked that Russia be consecrated to her Immaculate Heart. In 1929, she renewed her request in an appearance to Lucia, who was then preparing for life as a religious sister. But why was the message of Fátima especially concerned with the conversion of Russia, and why has the church taken this so seriously? One factor is the rise of the Communist Party in Russia, and in particular, Joseph Stalin’s brutal reign, during which millions were imprisoned or executed. Another is the Cold War and the nuclear arms race, the reverberations of which are felt in the tensions today between Vladimir Putin and the West. Finally, the denial of God—an integral part of communist philosophy—deprived people of access to the transcendent, suppressed the freedom to worship and undermined the Christian vision of human dignity.
Russia per this historical record is presented as a “threat” of sorts, to itself, its neighbors, and even impacting the global order, and thus the call to prayer, deep, real, and without end.
That threat has metastasized and today Russia enters its 723rd day of sustained assault on the Ukrainian nation and on the Ukrainian people.
Russia today is once again a grave threat and growing. It must be stopped.
On March 15, 2022, the Vatican announced that Pope Francis would consecrate Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary during a penance service on Friday, March 25. This was a request from the Ukrainian Catholic bishops.
This was important, a symbol of solidarity with a nation and people who have suffered greatly under Russia’s imperialist ambitions.
Those ambitions led it to invasion of the Crimean peninsula in 2014 and then again in the invasion of of the rest of Ukraine in February, 2022.
These acts were in violation of the Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances, a diplomatic agreement signed in December 1994 by Ukraine, the United States, Russia, and the United Kingdom. The memorandum was part of the broader effort to address concerns about nuclear proliferation following the dissolution of the Soviet Union.
In essence, the memorandum provided security assurances to Ukraine in exchange for its agreement to denuclearize. Ukraine agreed to relinquish the nuclear weapons it inherited from the Soviet Union, which included the world's third-largest nuclear arsenal at the time. In return, the signatory countries pledged to respect Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, refrain from the threat or use of force against Ukraine, and not to use nuclear weapons against it.
Vlad Putin blew up this peace treaties.
He set a howitzer to it and the agreement exploded into highly volatile fragments.
No possible justification would exist for violating an international agreement like this, not in terms of human rights and international law, the dignity of persons, and the sovereign rights of nations to exist in peace with its neighbors.
There is only room for God and me within that sacred chamber found deep within us. It must not be replaced by men or nation states.
Nation states with their indomitable will seek to enter but they do so at their own peril and demise.
Individuals as well seek to take their place upon the throne of God and they do so at the risk of self immolation.
Too many tragic historical figures have that addendum to their life’s resume, as we have already seen in the likes of Jim Jones, David Koresh, and Keith Raniere.
Donald Trump, recalling a meeting with NATO leaders and asked if the United States would protect a NATO country not fully paid up if attacked by Russia, said, “You didn't pay? You're delinquent?' 'Yes, let's say that happened.' No I would not protect you. In fact I would encourage them to do whatever the hell they want. You gotta pay."
Donald Trump would encourage Russia to do to NATO “whatever the hell they want.”
Russia having such assurances from the United States not to intervene is the inverse of the intent and purpose of Article V, which states, an attack against one member of NATO is considered an attack against all members.
This mutual defense agreement, expressed in a commitment to come to the aid of any member under attack, is an essential pillar of western democracy, and Trump, as the leader of the Republican party, is on record saying if those NATO states that are not fully paid up are attacked by Russia, the United States would not come to their aid.
The great deceiver here in the United States is telling the great deceiver rising from the east with a sickle and hammer in hand that he could wield it at will at any NATO country they deem not payed up.
Saying, “No I would not protect you, in fact I would encourage them to do whatever the hell they wanted.”
Encouraging a non-NATO member who previously destroyed a peace treatise to wage war and blow up a military alliance that has held close to 75 years is nothing short of treason.
These words must not be forgotten or looked over as Trump simply trash talking.
They carry with them too much meaning, too much ambiguity, too much chaos, and lack of clarity, with a fog and dark mist that envelops it.
The meaning behind his words are too dangerous to ignore.
The person behind those words is even more dangerous.
General (Ret.) Wesley K. Clark, former NATO Supreme Allied Commander, Europe and VoteVets Senior Advisor, on Donald Trump’s remarks that he would allow Putin to attack NATO.
On 9/11, when America was under attack, NATO nations all mobilized to come to our defense and fought alongside us to crush al Qaeda. They didn’t ask us for money. They didn’t put strings on it. That is the kind of iron-clad commitment that has kept Western democracies — including our own — alive for 75 years. For Donald Trump to publicly signal to Vladimir Putin that he can take as much of Europe as he wants, and we will sit by and cheer him on, isn’t just breaking the promise the United States has made, and it isn’t just threatening Europe. It is encouraging World War III, which will hit our shores and cost American lives. It is the kind of statement that can only come from a deranged and twisted mind. I do not say this lightly: The lives of every American, both in uniform and civilian, are at severe risk if Donald Trump wins this election.
Trump like the “intruder” from earlier is selling a product, a very shining one, and too many people have bought into it.
They have bought into a lie that is much bigger than the claims of a rigged election. It is a lie about himself.
His presentation of self is a falsehood, his presentation of others are all falsehoods, coming from an unreal persona made up of false words and deeds meant to deceive and control for purposes of self glorification.
He is indeed the great deceiver of our time.
Like the ancient serpent who seeks to give people all they need so long as they bow to him.
However, there is only room for God and me within that sacred chamber found deep within us.
This spiritual law is engraved in the very fabric of creation, and no one person or system will ever bring it down.
Count on it.
