The 8th Circle
Proverbs says the Lord detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with him.
The reason I do not back Donald Trump is simple.
He is immoral and dangerous.
His immorality has led him to many dark choices.
Choices that include FRAUD.
Fraud is the 8th circle of Dante's Inferno, from the Divine Comedy written by Dante Alighieri in 1320.
Here I include a summary from AI.
Fraud is considered a serious sin in Dante's Inferno because it involves deliberate deception, manipulation, and betrayal of trust. In Dante's moral framework, fraud is seen as a perversion of human reason and a violation of the natural order. It undermines the fundamental principles of justice, honesty, and integrity. By deceiving others for personal gain or malicious intent, fraudulent individuals disrupt the harmony of society and the moral fabric of the universe.
I am not aware of a more flagrant and high powered example of fraud spread over various venues than the ones he is being charged with.
The case that began today in New York alleges he falsified 34 business records in violation of New York law.
His case in Florida involves charges falling under the espionage act. He is charged with lying and obstruction of justice related to unlawfully retaining classified documents and his attempts to conceal them.
His State case in Georgia alleges he attempted to overturn the will of the voters and interfere with the results of the 2020 election in that State.
His Federal case by the Department of Justice charges conspiracy to defraud the United States of America, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights.
On February 16, 2024, Trump was found liable for fraud for inflating and deflating his assets for financial gain and was ordered to pay $354 million.
This is not the ordinary fraud of common citizens, but the extraordinary fraud of an extraordinarily powerful person.
In one charge alone, the federal prosecutor, is charging Trump with violating Title 18, U.S.C., Section 241 - Conspiracy Against Rights.
In simple terms, he attempted to fraudantly invalidate your vote and my vote.
He tried to steal our vote since he sought to overturn with lies the results of a lawful election.
The belief that one man while president could illegally overturn an American election to fit his inordinate desires is at a scale hitherto not seen before in the chronicals of American history.
In Dantes Inferno, the eighth circle, where the stench of fraud rises, is second closest to Cocytus, where Satan resides.
Like the foul river Styx in Dante's inferno, that serves as a border between the grinding of fraud in the 8th circle on one side of the river and the screams of betrayal of the 9th circle on the other side.
The 9th circle is reserved for those that are traitors. Perhaps some in the 8th circle are simply passing thru.
There, one is alone with others who are also alone.
As the facts get reported in the New York case, a counter response will surface from him and his pawns. .
As the facts come out in future cases, this response will grow even more fraudulant and fervent.
Fraud is not a virtue.
Fraud is not a "good."
Fraud is evil.
A very grave evil.
Fraud on the soul that breaks the earth's surface remains in the soul where just possibly a river awaits.
There remains a way out.
Acknowledge the fraud, take ownership, apologize, make amends, receive mercy, and dodge a river or two.
This would be too painful for the one so steeped in fraud he posts almost nonstop throughout the day.
His most important fraud claims the fraud was a stolen 2020 election. That is his primary talking point, his primary passion, his primary focus, his unrelenting message found in copious amounts of statements posted.
He sees fraud where there is none.
He fails to see fraud where it is found.
Be weary of the many false posts and tweets and videos he and his pawns post daily.
Be even more weary of the ones that come from him.
Run as far as you can from them.
Associate with them not, remembering the world of the 8th circle and more importantly the words of Proverbs 11:1:
The Lord detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with him.
