To explain Raymond Arroyo who appears on Fox News, and EWTN, I need to set the scene for his comments.
Forty-five recently in a clip available online, said this at a rally.
I got indicted for nothing, for something that is nothing. They were doing it because it was election interference. And then I got indicted a second time and a third time and a fourth time. A lot of people said that that's why the black people like me because they have been hurt so badly and discriminated against.
Then later in the speech he adds this "gem."
The mugshot, we have all seen the mugshot. And you know who embraced it more than anybody else? The black population. It's incredible You see black people walking around with my mug shot. You know, they do shirts.
First point.
The evidence for your indictments is overwhelming, not something you will escape, Sir.
The indictments also have everything to do with your behavior and nothing to do with election interference.
You appear to be running for office to evade accountability. This is self evident to most people.
Next point.
Yes, black people "have been hurt so badly and discriminated against" many times over, too many times to count.
This hurt and discrimination is too often leveled by those who use hurt and discrimination as a weapon to control others they deem unworthy of their God endowed human dignity, which, contrary to what they believe, is not subject to their approval or understanding.
I come from a perspective that believes that all humans are equal in rank and dignity before God and that human judgements are left to God alone.
Obviously, some people believe otherwise. They may believe that the darker races are inferior to the white race.
The measure they carry can become for them a burden they could take with them beyond death.
Not a joyous sight.
Next point.
Donald Trump is not being hurt or discriminated against as innocent black people are being hurt and discriminated against.
His "hurt" remains subjective, rooted in him, not reality; the fruit of him being held accountable for his (alleged) unjust and illegal behavior.
Next point.
He claims others say that this is the reason black people like him, because they can relate to his indictments and to his mug shot.
Notice how he says that “a lot of people” say this. This way, he says it while evading responsibility for his words, since others said it, not him.
It is twisted, I know.
The signs of racism are there, the dog whistles in abundance.
It’s on video, audio, posts. In fact, it is in legions on line.
Loose lips not only sink other ships. It can sink your own as well.
Next point.
Raymond Arroyo in my view seems to act like a high powered megaphone for all things forty-five.
He was at the White House on November 4, 2020, when the words, "frankly, we did win this election,” were spoken.
I think he smiled and clapped with approval
You can see him on Fox News and I guess he still works for EWTN, a Catholic network in Alabama not under the authority of an old acquaintance of mine of fond memories, Steven Raica, bishop of Birmingham, AL.
That network is its own legal entity not subject to the local bishop's direct rule.
This is why EWTN can take the reins of its own network and this allows them greater flexibility to do as they please.
This allows Arroyo to simultaneously work for a partisan right wing network as well.
On his left hand, he has EWTN, on his right way down the rabbit hole is Fox News.
The network that paid out $787, 000, 000 to a voting machine company for making false statements.
Here is what Arroyo says in one Fox News video clip in response to forty-five’s comments above, highlighted here as evidence pointing to Arroyo as a mouth-piece for forty-five.
Meaning, he is now seen by non political folks, as a rebel, an outsider with swagger. And as one black lady I spoke to earlier today here in New Orleans said, "Trump's a gangster. And that means he has cred [ibility] among a new block of voters that perhaps have never given a serious look And now they're looking again."
Racism is an ideology that asserts one race over the other. Think Nazi Germany, 1933-45. In those years, grave beyond anything we have ever seen, millions of Jews were murdered because of this ideology.
Racism is still real among those not disposed to kill millions of people. The former guy nor his followers are prone to such murderous rage. They are not about to kill millions but that is beside the point since a racist ideology can also exist among those not prone to murder millions of people.
As we look at the record, it isn't hard to discern that forty-five and many of his followers seem to have similar albeit non-murderous traits within them.
Racism is also "unfair treatment of individuals or groups based on their race or ethnicity.”
Treating blacks as a group and including the innocents in his scheme while highlighting their worst traits and claiming it is the source of their admiration for him is really out there.
Case in point:
Forty-five’s comment as it appears above along with Arroyo's comment, taken together, can be taken as racist talking points that intentionally paints a stereotypical picture that is certainly not true of the black population.
It takes the worst traits of some within that population and they spread it to everyone within that population.
And done for purposes of shining the master's ring.
That remains quite repugnant.
Such behavior is at odds with these divine words. “And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” (Matthew 22:39
I rejoice that 45 he is at the phase the Titanic was when it hit the iceberg and came to a dead stop in the water.
Like the film actor says, “from this moment, no matter what I do, Titanic will founder.”
No matter what he does, he will founder.
It is only a matter of time.
Forty-five says in that same speech from November 4, 2020:
This was a major fraud in our nation. We want the law to be used in the proper manner.
Says a man facing ninety-one felony counts.
The fraud are the claims, the lies, the ideology, the beliefs, the platform, the brand, the performance, the speeches, the words, the smile.
These judgements are predicated of his behaviors, not of him as a human being. The latter is left to God. The former left to us.
He and his mouth-pieces are but a house of cards, says the fruit of Acts 2:17.
Those who have and who will storm the beaches with him will be tainted in ways they may never be able to escape.
Count on it.

“They are not about to kill millions but that is beside the point since a racist ideology can also exist among those not prone to murder millions.”
I’m glad you included this in your article. It’s clear many have racist ideologies just some more covert than others. What race is the highest in rank of abortion, an ideal for Democrats?
We need to make a clean slate and lead politicians back to the truth! I currently see too many being elected with good morals turned to lies and deceit all for the campaign money.
Both of the top two parties are destroying America.
Another layer of irony: Colt 45, the malt liquor, was pitched in a similar racist manner, relying on stereotypes and Billy Dee Williams. I'm sure someone with time on their hands could spin up a meme with Raymond pitching cult 45 malt liquor for his hero
