A Wounded Nation

I cannot believe I still feel compelled to write about the president. I won’t stop. TDS, Trump Denial Syndrome, is real.

I cannot stay silent.

I have no idea what the president will say at 9:00 PM ET from the White House.

His words are not my interest per se, but whether his grasp on reality is one I can trust.

This is what I will be looking for.

Will there be any indications in the speech that suggest he is preoccupied with the midterm elections?

Will he will use his office in a way that will bring clarity to the subject he is addressing or cause greater chaos and division?

Some say he is trying to undermine or even damage American elections in a way that allows him to stay in power indefinitely.

If true and his name was Joseph R. Biden, their morals, the president”s supporters, would surface, but with their man in office, many choose to place this president over their own moral principles.

Many think this is normal.

Might makes right in their minds.

Will his words reflect reality or will he use the oval shape of his office to send out false witnesses and testimonies to the masses?

Will he elevate himself and brand himself as the only one who can take a “corrupt” system and “fix it?”

Will the reality he describes be rooted in known facts or in fabrications?

Will the president seek to lift other people up in a charitable manner or will he attempt to smear them with words that cannot be verified?

Will the president further divide this nation or will he bring people together E Pluribus Unum?

Will he embrace a world view that is divided and cannot stand?

Is this what he loves, desires, craves?

We shall see.
